Emraan Hashmi's Indo-American film Harami has officially been selected to be a part of the main competition section (New Horizons) of the Busan International Film Festival 2020.

Written and directed by Shyam Madiraju, Harami is the only Indian film to be selected for this year's main competition. Though the film is set in the streets of Mumbai, the makers claims that Harami is a 'universal story of hope and redemption.'

Emraan is playing the role of an English teacher-turned-gang lord in the movie and he is elated at this new development. He also unveiled his look from the film today and is seen sporting long unkempt locks.

Busan is the only other festival besides Venice that's taking place physically, this year. All the 194 selected films selected will be screened physically in theaters. The festival will commence from October 21.
