Emraan Hashmi hasn't been seen in a love story for quite some time now. The actor has had a good track record with the Bhatts in the romantic genre that was powered by musical magic. According to the latest report in Mid-Day, it seems that the successful duo is set to return with a similar project. 

Emraan and Vishesh Bhatt have had multiple meetings and discussed various projects recently. They have almost zeroed in on one love story that will have a musical touch and a dark theme as well.

"Emraan has been visiting Vishesh's office for over a year as they have been in discussions for a movie. Last week, he was again spotted at their Khar office. While they have shortlisted a few stories, the one that has their attention is a modern love story with a dark twist, written by Vishesh. Things will be finalized by March," a source close to the development told the portal.

Mukesh Bhatt told Mid-Day about it and shared, "We're looking at options, but it's too early to talk about it. Vishesh is at the helm of it. He is now taking the banner forward, but yes, I will be there to oversee the music."

The Tiger 3 actor is yet to comment on the matter. Emraan and the Bhatts have previously worked together on films like Murder, Zeher, Gangster, Awarapan, Jannat, Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Tum Mile, Crook, Murder 2, Jannat 2, Raaz 3, Mr. X, and Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
