American singer-songwriter Lisa Presley took leave of this mortal world on Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was the only daughter of music and stage legend Elvis Presley. Lisa was 54 and suffered a 'full arrest' at her home in Calabasas, California, U.S.
As per media reports, Lisa Presley was found unresponsive in her home. She was rushed to the hospital but couldn't make it. "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss," Lisa's mother, Priscilla Presley, said in a statement.
Lisa followed the footsteps of her father and entered the music industry in 2003. Lisa also released non-album singles, including duets with her father using tracks he had released before he died. Lisa Presley was known for her high-profile marriages with singer Michael Jackson, musician Danny Keough, actor Nicolas Cage, and music producer Michael Lockwood.
