Ekta Kapoor To Select Actors For 'XXX' Through Twitter!

We all agree that social media platforms are playing an important role in the lives of Bollywood celebs, but this certainly takes the cake!

Balaji Queen Bee Ekta Kapoor, who will be making a youth erotica titled XXX next, has decided to choose people for the film from Twitter! Sources close to Kapoor say that with most of the youth being on social media nowadays, in a first of a kind, the makers have partnered with Twitter to call for auditions for the film. Given the explosive content, the makers of the film felt it would be best to cast rank newcomers in the film, to add to the freshness of the film.

The source added, ''Ekta Kapoor, who is spearheading the project has come up with an innovative way of auditioning for the leading cast of the film through social media and the filmmakers are going to throw up the casting on the world wide net and ask those who are interested to post their audition videos on Twitter. An unheard of phenomenon thus far, but with everyone at Twitter and ALT entertainment collaborating to make it a success, this initiative certainly seems to be holding a lot of merit.''

On her part, Ekta said, ''With XXX we're looking at pushing the envelope right from the start. The idea of having auditions online is just the beginning to a very adventurous journey."
