Ekta Kapoor Ropes In Shakti Kapoor For A Sex Comedy

We had recently reported that Aftab Shivdasani has replaced Riteish Deshmukh in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming project which also features Tusshar Kapoor. We have now learned that Bollywood's quintessential baddie Shakti Kapoor is a part of the project as well. Shakti will essay the role of Tusshar's father in the film. The role will see Shakti as a womanising, flamboyant man who has been married twice.

The film will go on floors in January and will be shot in Bangkok. Shakti Kapoor's association with Ekta's family goes a long way back. In fact, Shakti has played a villain in over 50 films which featured Ekta's father Jeetendra. This project, thus is extra special for Shakti and he has known Tusshar since he was a child. He isn't afraid of being type cast into the sex comedy genre because he believes that these kind of films have been appreciated by the audience and at the end of the day it's just a role. We wonder what beti Shraddha thinks of this collaboration.
