ED Summons Ranbir Kapoor In Online Gaming Scam By Mahadev App

Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Mahadev App case. The actor has been asked to be present for questions on October 6, 2023.

Mahadev App's kingpin, Saurabh Chandrakar, and his partner, Ravi Uppal, are accused of the scam. They allegedly have links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. These two are suspected of running Mahadev online book operations from Dubai.

Many Bollywood celebrities attended Saurabh Chandrakar's wedding bash in February 2023, and the money they used to pay them is under scrutiny. In the same case, Ranbir Kapoor has been asked to appear before the agency.

Apart from Ranbir, other Bollywood celebrities such as Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Elli Avram, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Pulkit, Kriti Khabanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azgar, and Vishal Dadlani attended the wedding. As per reports, they are all under the ED's scanner.
