Shraddha Kapoor ED Summons: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Mahadev App case. The actor has been asked to be present for questions on October 6, 2023, the same day as Ranbir Kapoor.
What's the case?
Mahadev App's kingpin, Saurabh Chandrakar, and his partner, Ravi Uppal, are accused of the scam. They allegedly have links with the underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. These two men are suspected of running Mahadev online book operations from Dubai.The matter also has to do with Saurabh Chandrakar's wedding bash, which took place in February 2023. Many Bollywood celebrities attended it, and the money they received is under ED's radar. Shraddha Kapoor has been asked for regular questioning in the same case.Apart from Ranbir and Shraddha, other Bollywood celebrities such as Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Elli Avram, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azgar, and Vishal Dadlani attended the wedding too.
