ED Raids 'Ponniyin Selvan' Producers' Office In Money Laundering Case —

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the office premises of Lyca Productions, which produced a recent pan-India series, Ponniyin Selvan. The ED officers began searching the office premises on Tuesday morning without any notice to the owners.

There is no official information available about why the raids have been conducted, but as per media reports, they are said to be part of an investigation into a money laundering case. The searches were conducted in eight places, including Adyar, T. Nagar, and Karapakkam.

Lyca Production has produced biggies like Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 and Part 2, Darbar, and 2 Point O. The PS series had made more than 700 crore at the global box office. The upcoming slate of Lyca includes two big budget films by Shankar.
