'Dostana' Dudes John Abraham-Abhishek Bachchan To Team Up For 'Vettai' Remake

Actors John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, who tickled everyone's funny bone with their 'gay' act in rom-com Dostana, will now break a few bones in an action-packed film, which is supposed to be the remake of South flick, Vettai.

The original film had starred Arya, R. Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul, and had been directed by N. Linguswamy. However, the remake will be helmed by director duo Abbas-Mustan, who had last directed the racy thriller Race 2. The story of the film revolves around two brothers, a cop and a jobless goon, who must protect their family from a gang of criminals.

Abbas-Mustan added that they will tweak the story to suit the sensibilities of mass audiences here. Bachchan Jr. will be next seen playing the role of a cop in Dhoom 3, whereas Abraham will play a ruthless gangster in Shootout At Wadala.
