Divya Kumar Receives Rajiv Gandhi Award

Actress-turned-filmmaker Divya Kumar recently received the Rajiv Gandhi Award for excellence for her directorial debut Yaariyan.

Divya feels honoured to be bestowed with the honour at such an early stage in her career however, she adds that her journey and her growth doesn’t stop here. The filmmakers says that’s he is proud that she is proud that she has been able to make a mark in a male dominated industry.

Divya could not be present in New Delhi to receive the award and her parents received it on her behalf.
