Director Shaad Ali files for divorce

Life is not being too kind to director Shaad Ali. Following the poor show of his film Jhoom Barabar Jhoom at the box office recently comes the news that his personal life is in tatters as well. It is believed that the director and his wife, Shahzneen, have filed for divorce.

It?s not even been a year since Shaad got married to his childhood sweetheart Shahzneen. The cracks in their relationship started appearing soon after. The strain began telling on their marriage and they are believed to have started living separately. The couple even had a couple of showdowns on the sets of Jhoom Barabar as well. Shahzneen, was not directly connected to the film, but was providing creative inputs. Shaad?s parents, director Muzaffar Ali and mother Subhasini are yet to come to terms with the breakup. As for Shaad, he is believed to have taken refuge in religion these days.
