Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews, who is set to make his Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor, has come forward to speak against the fake YouTube reviewers. He claims that the YouTube reviewers are trying to extort money by threatening producers, and so they should be banned from taking reviews outside cinema halls.
Rosshan Andrrews said, "I know of people who extort money from producers by threatening to publish a negative review. There are those who take Rs 2 lakh and tweet positive reviews."
The Malayalam director has given films like Notebook, Udayananu Tharam, Prathi Poovan Kozhi, Mumbai Police, and Salute. He will direct Shahid Kapoor in his Bollywood debut, which is written by his longtime buddies Bobby and Sanjay and produced by Roy Kapur Films.
