Director Dream: Hrithik's New Passion

He's earned his stripes as an actor, but is yearning to go in the right direction. Movie direction, that is.

Having sparked off his trail as a child actor ('Bhagwan Dada', 'Vijay'), Hrithik Roshan went on to assist his filmmaker dad in direction ('Koyla', 'Karan Arjun'), before embarking upon his career as a male lead with 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai'.

Reportedly, the direction bug has bitten Roshan Jr! And word has it, that Hrithik is all set to pen his script once he's done with the filming of 'Guzaarish' and Zoya Akhtar's next.

Roshan Jr is said to be toying with the idea of turning independent director with a romantic flick which will also have elements of comedy, full throttle emotional scenes and action, as well.

Once he accomplishes it, perfectionist Hrithik will join the bracket of actor directors: Aamir Khan ('Taare Zameen Par') and Ajay Devgn ('U, Me Aur Hum').
