As we know, the slaughtering of Afzal Khan is one of the most important and popular chapters in the history books of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. After the super hit response to the recently released Pawankhind, Digpal is all set to tell the most talked about tale of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's face off with Afzal Khan at Pratapgad. Writer, director, and producer Digpal Lanjekar, along with producers Nittin Keni, Pradyot Prashant Pendharkar, Anil Narayanrao Warkhade and Chinmay Mandlekar, has set out to bring the thrilling experience of Afzal Khan’s assassination to the silver screen with Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead role, who is also the co-producer of the film. Sher Shivraj, the golden chapter of Shivcharitra, will roar in cinemas from 22nd April 2022.
