Dick Van Dyke made history by winning the Daytime Emmy 2024 awards at the age of 98. Dyke became the oldest actor ever to win the Daytime Emmy Award.

The legendary actor won the award for guest role in a daytime drama series via his spot on Peacock's "Days of Our Lives."

"I feel like a spy on nighttime television (laughs). I'm the oldest nominee in history. I can’t believe it. I was playing old men all my life. If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself. I’m 98 years old; can you believe it? This tops a lifetime of 80 years in the business. I love you, God bless," he shared after the nomination.
