Dhurandhar Surpasses Chhaava & Jawan In 19 Days:

Dhurandhar continues its dream run at the Indian box office and has now rewritten some Bollywood records in just 19 days. The spy action entertainer has officially crossed the lifetime collections of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, marking a major milestone for the industry in 2025.

Dhurandhar opened strong with ₹196 crore nett in its first week, followed by an even bigger ₹240 crore nett in the second week, showing remarkable word-of-mouth and repeat value. The film maintained its momentum into the third week as well, collecting ₹87 crore over the third weekend, along with ₹15.75 crore on Monday and ₹16.50 crore on Tuesday. This takes the film’s total box office collection to an impressive ₹557 crore nett (approx.).

With these numbers, Dhurandhar has surpassed Chhaava’s ₹545 crore nett to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 so far. More importantly, it has also edged past Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which had collected ₹555 crore nett in its lifetime run, making this achievement even more significant.

Led by Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, whose intense screen presences and action-packed performances have been widely appreciated, Dhurandhar has connected strongly with audiences across mass belts and multiplexes alike. The gripping spy-action narrative, stylish presentation, and strong supporting cast have all contributed to its box office dominance. The nationalist touch and political debates have taken it away from mainstream Bollywood audiences and made it a national film.

At present, the only Hindi film ahead of Dhurandhar is Stree 2, which stands at ₹581 crore nett. If the current trend continues, Dhurandhar is well on track to cross that mark soon. Beyond that, the bigger challenge will be chasing Pushpa 2 (Hindi), which holds a massive ₹725 crore nett record.

The race is far from over, but Dhurandhar has already secured its place among Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters.
