After the success of Good Newwz and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, director Raj Mehta is set to reunite with producer Karan Johar for his next directorial venture. The film now has the official title Lag Jaa Gale. This romantic action drama will mark the first on-screen collaboration between young stars Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor.

According to a source close to the development, "Lag Jaa Gale" is a revenge action love story, and Raj Mehta has been working on the script for quite some time. He was keen on casting a fresh pairing, and after narrating the story to Tiger and Janhvi, both actors were quick to come on board."

The title Lag Jaa Gale was finalized after much deliberation, and it really sounds cool. “The team considered several options but felt this title best captured the essence of the story—a high-octane revenge drama set against the backdrop of a powerful love story,” the source explained.

Production for Lag Jaa Gale is expected to begin toward the end of 2025. The makers aim for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026, with plans to feature groundbreaking action sequences showcasing Tiger Shroff's signature style.
