Nadaaniyan to be new addition to Dharma's new age rom-coms era :

Dharma Productions explored the modern-era rom-com with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in the late '90s and then started a new era of today's youth-driven romantic comedies in the 2010s. The glorious run for one of the biggest production houses in Bollywood continues in the 2020s too, and with Nadaaniyan, they have a brand-new addition to the list.

In the last decade, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta's production banner set a landmark for new-age rom-coms with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013). The film was a huge blockbuster and has gained a cult following over the years. The grand success of YJHD was followed by 2 States (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

The maverick filmmaker Karan Johar returned to the director's chair and delivered a box office hit with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, continuing the glorious run of Dharma in this decade. Following the tradition, RARKPK's assistant director, Shauna Gautam, is now bringing a fresh romantic comedy, Nadaaniyan. This seems like another winner for Dharma already, as the definition of modern romance is set to get a new layer with this interesting film.

Nadaaniyan will feature Ibrahim Ali Khan debuting with a bang, and he's looking very promising in the promos and songs released so far. He is paired opposite Khushi Kapoor, who brings youthful vibes and freshness to the chemistry. Together, these two and Dharma are looking to rewrite the rulebook of the rom-com genre with Nadaaniyan. Get ready for another brilliant rom-com from Dharma Productions on March 7th.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, the film stars Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra's Dharmatic Entertainment Production and will be released on Netflix.
