Denzel Washington To Play Controversial Pilot In 'Flight'

The Bone Collector actor Denzel Washington has been roped in to play a commercial pilot nicknamed 'Whip' in director Robert Zemeckis' upcoming project titled Flight.

Washington shall play a commercial pilot whose character lands in trouble during an investigation after his heroic landing of a damaged plane comes under scrutiny.

The film, which marks the first-ever collaboration between Zemeckis and Washington, will begin shooting in October at Atlanta.
