Deepika And Priyanka's International Sojourn Continues With Romanian Release For 'Bajirao Mastani'

Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have made a good kick-start to their Hollywood career with high profile films like XXX: The Return of Xander Cage and Baywatch respectively. While one looks forward to the release of these films in 2017, where both of them play the part of a leading lady, they have a lot more to cheer about this week.

Their last film together, Bajirao Mastani, is seeing a theatrical release in Romania today. Eros International is giving the film a release across 15 theaters in the country and it is expected that the historical love story cum action saga would fetch the attention of Romanians as well.

Starring Ranveer Singh as the central protagonist, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick was a massive success when it released amidst competition from Shahrukh Khan's Dilwale on 18th December last year. Just in India, the film scored 188 crore, hence turning out to be the 11th highest grosser ever in the history of Bollywood. A Superhit, the film was always marked for a staggered mainstream international release across various unexplored territories.

Romania is one of the first countries where the film has released and in coming weeks, many other countries are being targeted.
