David Hasselhoff Tries For 'Baywatch' Movie Rights

Hunky actor David Hasselhoff, who played the role of lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the popular series Baywatch which brought fame to blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson is now planning to make a movie on the show.

Hasselhoff was quoted to have said in a television show, "Right now I'm trying to get the rights to the movie. I would be in it. I would produce it... I would be the father figure, and you put a hot young kid in there and he comes to dad (for advice) - like The Sting, like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
