After playing the role of a cop in two of his upcoming films viz. Tezz and Shootout At Wadala, veteran actor Anil Kapoor might be seen playing the role of a rakish love guru in his next flick.

Buzz has it that actor David Dhawan is planning to direct the remake of Chhoti Si Baat, which had Amol Palekar and Ashok Kumar in lead roles and that the remake would have Ali Zafar and Kapoor playing the roles essayed by Palekar and Kumar respectively.

A 1975 romantic comedy directed by Basu Chatterjee, Chhoti Si Baat revolved around the exploits of a shy young man in love, who finds a mentor in an older, experienced man, who helps him woo the lady in question. The movie had Palekar playing the shy young man whereas Kumar essayed the role of the older mentor. The original movie itself was inspired from School for Scoundrels, a 1960 British comedy.
