Dalip Tahil Approached By Balaji For Next Project

Veteran actor Dalip Tahil, who has spent many years in Bollywood and had also appeared in two television serials years ago before disappearing from the small screen altogether, has now reportedly been approached by Balaji Telefilms for making a comeback to the small screen.

When contacted, Tahil confirmed the news and was quoted to have said, "Yes I was approached by Balaji Telefilms. I have also given my look-test for the show. Being an experienced actor they were a little reluctant to take my look-test, but I insisted to give one. They have approached me for the lead role in the show."

The new show is apparently based on the same lines as the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pardes and Tahil is said to be playing the role played by the late Amrish Puri in the movie.
