Crime Patrol Actor Preksha Mehta Commits Suicide

A week after television actor Manmeet Grewal, of Aadat Se Majboor and Kuldeepak fame, committed suicide at his Navi Mumbai residence, another TV actor Preksha Mehta has committed suicide.

Preksha took her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on May 25. She was found hanging from her ceiling fan by a family member the next day. She had returned to her hometown due to the COVID-19 scare in Mumbai.

She left behind a suicide note but didn't mention the reason behind her taking the extreme step. Reportedly, she was depressed as she was out of work, much like Manmeet. Preksha had also worked in shows like Meri Durga and Laal Ishq. She captioned her last Instagram post as 'Sabse bura hota hai sapno ka mar jana.'
