As we reported earlier, one of the most awaited films of 2020, 83 starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is all set to release next month. We reported that the makers of this grand multi-starrer was all set to release the trailer today, March 11, at a grand event in Mumbai. Reportedly the trailer was scheduled to be unveiled at a grand scale event, at the MMRDA grounds in Mumbai.
The trailer was suppose to be released in presence of the director Kabir Khan along with all the actors, and their real life counterparts, who were also said to be present at the event. Now as per latest development, the grand trailer launch event has now been called off, as the makers have decided to push the trailer launch, due to the growing scare of the coronavirus outbreak.
The coronavirus epidemic is spreading globally, and the deadly COVID-19 has now been found infecting bodies of over 50 people nation wide. The life threatening outbreak is spreading rapidly globally, due to which, strict precautions have now been taken even in India. Due to the Coronavirus scare, people are restricting from going to public places, or meeting at public gatherings, due to which several Holi functions across the country was cancelled yesterday. Business of several industries around the globe has also been affected due to the epidemic and it looks like Bollywood is one them. We hear, that now Reliance Entertainment have decided to postpone the release dates of two of its biggest films this year, Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh starrer 83. Shooting of several ongoing films like Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar starrer Prithviraj, Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht and Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has also been affected due to the current scared situation, owing to the life threatening epidemic. As many film shoots has been put on hold, postponed and relocated to another area due to the same.
Meanwhile Directed by Kabir Khan, “83” is based on India’s iconic win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Where Ranveer will be seen portraying the former iconic Indian Cricket Team captain, Kapil Dev on screens and Deepika will be seen in the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, Nadiadwala Grandsons and Phantom Films, this film as of now, is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020.
