Amole Gupte is all set to make a biopic on badminton champ Saina Nehwal and he has now locked the leading lady of the movie.
Shraddha Kapoor will play the protagonist in the yet-untitled film. Kapoor feels lucky to be a part of the movie and can't wait to start prepping for her role. Saina, who is presently in China for the Badminton Asia Championship, is happy with the casting and feels that Shraddha will do full justice to her role.
Since Shraddha is also her friend, Nehwal feels that it will be easier to teach badminton moves to her. This is Kapoor's second biopic after Haseena.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the biopic will release in 2018.
