Interstellar box office collection in India:

Interstellar's original release in India was a success despite facing competition. Such complex cinema typically does not perform well in India, but Nolan's popularity following "Inception" helped this sci-fi masterpiece maintain a solid run for nearly a month. The film grossed approximately 38 crore in India at that time, a commendable total for a film lacking mass appeal or franchise value. Now, a decade later, the film continues to carry the same legacy, and the re-release is expected to break numerous records, including those set by Bollywood movies.

Interstellar Advance booking:

The Matthew McConaughey starrer has sold over 1,50,000 tickets in advance sales. This is an impressive figure for any film in re-release, whether Hindi or English. With a week to go, "Interstellar" aims for a substantial total on its opening day and is likely to maintain a strong hold for a week until "Chhaava" premieres in cinemas. Given the current momentum, it appears we are on the brink of witnessing a huge success.

Interstellar Movie Review: Simply...Mind-blowing!

Written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan, "Interstellar" features Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine. The film is scheduled for re-release in India on February 7, 2025. Initially planned for a December 6, 2024 release, it was delayed due to "Pushpa 2," which prevented it from securing IMAX screens.
