Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava is making waves in the Mumbai circuit. The historical epic action drama is all set to surpass the numbers of Pushpa 2 in this circuit, which seemed UNBEATABLE just a couple of months ago. Nobody expected the record of Pushpa 2 - The Rule to last for at least 2-3 years, and then came Chhaava to challenge those numbers despite having fewer screens.

Pushpa 2 collected a massive total of Rs. 267 crore nett in the Mumbai circuit, while Laxman Utekar's directorial stands at 260 crore nett in 5 weeks. The film has achieved outstanding business in Maharashtra, setting a new record close to Rs. 200 crore nett, while Gujarat and Saurashtra contributed approximately 40 crore nett.

Chhaava's story is rooted in Maharashtra and appeals to both the masses and the classes. The emotional connection has helped the film register unthinkable numbers in the state, and it’s unlikely that any film will come close to this phenomenon soon.
