Tanishq's latest ad, which had a Muslim family throwing a lavish baby shower for their pregnant Hindu daughter-in-law, has been withdrawn by the company after receiving backlash on social media however, Divya Dutta is not happy with the company's decision.
Divya, who had lent her voice to the ad, is sad that the advertisement has been taken off air. When a Twitter user said that they have nothing against her but 'wrong is wrong', the actress said, "But sir don’t we all promote brotherhood?? We as India are all about that. That’s our soul sir. Unity in diversity bachpan mein sunte the. Aise to kitne ads hote the. Koi kuch nai kehta tha.. par chalein sabke apne vichar."
We think it's about time people stop dividing the nation on religious lines.
