Chak De India to premiere in London

It seems to be the rage these days to have star-studded premieres in foreign countries. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De India too is set for a premiere in London. The film, made by Yash Raj, will have its world premiere on August 9 at Somerset House in London. Shah Rukh, who is holidaying in London currently, will be present on the occasion along with the rest of the cast.

Somerset House, the venue for the screening of the film will be transformed into an open-air theatre along with a state-of-art giant screen and surround sound system. Around 2,000 moviegoers are expected to attend the premiere. The courtyard at the venue will have a section depicting a hockey field as the film is about an aging hockey coach played by SRK. All in all, a grand show is on the cards.
