Moral police who're probably readying to scream blue murder over Murder 2 can cool their heels. And look for other targets. Exercising a round of discretion, the Bhatts, the indomitable Mahesh and Mukesh, together with director Mohit Suri, have re shot and toned down the steamy heat between Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez in the song track haale dil of their flick.

The flick, passed with no cuts and awarded an 'Adults Only' certificate by Censor Board Officials, is being talked about for the sexciting chemistry between Hashmi and Jacky. Word has it that the Bhatts and Suri converged on the fact that the song picturised in the manner that it was, could probably stoke the ire of the Censors. To obviate the possibility, they have scaled down the sensuality quotient to make it more palatable for national television.

Confirming the news, Mahesh Bhatt states in a tabloid quote that "we did not re shoot the entire song, but some scenes were reshot keeping the Censor Board in mind."

Suri, however, maintains that although it has been "toned down," the final cut makes the cut fabulously in terms of sauciness. Asserts Suri in a newspaper comment, "We have not cooled down anything, and it is still as hot as it was planned."

Either which way, the sensuous wait is killing…
