This time the Janasheen actress has filed a police complaint against MLA Vinay Kore in support of animal rights. She has filed the police complaint on behalf of PETA, for cruelty and abuse meted out to an elephant by the name Sunder. According to reports from PETA, the animal suffered deep wounds and had been chained for a long time.

The police has received a complaint stating the Section 11(1)(a) of The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act and also Section 42 of the Indian Wildlife Protection Act which states that the animals must be provided hygiene and safe environment. In this case, Sunder’s rights to both these requirements have been violated.
