Gerard Butler has been roped in by Millennium Films to star in their film The Bricklayer. The film which is based on a novel of the same name, is a bestseller written by Noah Boyd, a former FBI agent.
The book's protagonist is, Steve Vail, who is a former FBI agent and works as a Chicago bricklayer, is approached by the agency to track down a criminal organization which is asking for escalating ransom amount.
This is the first project assembled by Millennium Films, since the time Mark Gill has stepped into the role of its President. Butler is also a co-producer of the movie alongside Alan Siegel and Danielle Robinson.
The P.S. I Love You star would be next seen in Coriolanus and Machine Gun Preacher both of which would be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
