'Bulandi' And 'Love 86' Director Esmayeel Shroff Passes Away at 62

Veteran Bollywood director Esmayeel Shroff passed away on Wednesday due to a long illness. He was 62 years old and took his last breath at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. The director was admitted to the hospital a month ago due to a heart attack.

Esmayeel Shroff is known for directing films like Ahista Ahista, Zid, Agar, God and Gun, Police Public, Majhdhaar, Dil Akhir Dil Hai, Bulandi, Nishchaiy, Suryaa and Jhutha Sach. In 1986, Esmayeel launched superstar Govinda with his Love 86.

Esmayeel Shroff was born on August 12, 1960, and graduated in sound engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. He then migrated to Mumbai to pursue his career in the film industry. We pray for his soul to be at rest in peace.
