Tanuj Virwani on his viral interview:

Actor Tanuj Virwani has addressed the buzz surrounding his past statement about having one-night stands in college, clarifying that it was taken out of context. In a candid chat with Movie Talkies, the Inside Edge star explained that his comment wasn’t meant to be boastful but rather a reflection of youthful experiences. Now a married man and proud father, Tanuj opened up about how much his life has evolved and why he continues to speak his mind without filters.

INTERVIEW: "When I auditioned for Inside Edge, people were against it" – Tanuj Virwani opens up about entering OTT space

Tanuj said, "Look, I think my statement was kind of taken out of context. I wasn’t seeing it or wearing it like a badge of honour that I had one-night stands in college. Someone asked me, ‘Why did you work on a film called One Night Stand?’ and I said, I don’t know why this is such a taboo topic. People have affairs, people have one-night stands. I may have had my fun when I was in college. That’s what I meant. And I also think when I was in college—what, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen years old?—that’s a very different phase in life.

"You’re just out of school, and suddenly the world’s your oyster. I should also mention that I don’t have much of a filter. I say things the way I see them, and if people want to take offense or think it’s a controversial statement, well, good luck to them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. And why would I change something? I mean, it’s part of my past. I’m obviously at a very different point and place in life now—at double the age I was then. I’m married, I have a lovely daughter and a wonderful family. I’m very much a family man now."
