Box-Office Update: Badhaai Ho Is A Certain Hit, Namaste England A Shocker!

Here is the box-office update of the new releases as per the trade – Badhaai Ho & Namaste England.

Badhaai Ho did exceedingly well on it’s second day i.e. Friday. The film grossed around 11.50-11,75 crore nett. North India seems to have taken to the film big time. The total collections of the film so far is almost 19 crore net.

Namaste England on the other hand has proved to be quite a shocker. The film opened to dismal collections and though the second day saw an upward trend, coming from such low levels it is not saying much. The film managed to gross around 2 crore net on it’s second day which takes it’s overall tally to approximately 3.5 crore net so far.

The weekend is not yet over so one will have to wait and watch how the films perform over the weekend, though one thing seems pretty certain – Badhaai Ho has the clear edge over Namaste England as of now.
