Bollywood's Funnyman Celebrates Birthday

Born in Shahjanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Rajpal Yadav participated in theatre for many years and completed a course at the National School of Drama before coming to Mumbai to try his luck in films. Though he did not gain success initially, he was spotted by Ram Gopal Varma and was cast in a negative role in Jungle where he played a psychopathic killer.

Though Yadav received accolades for the role, he stuck to playing comic roles and appeared in many films since then, carving a niche for himself as a comic actor.

Apart from comedies, Yadav has also played lead roles in films like like Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh,Ladies Tailor,Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama and Hello! Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain.
