Bollywood Offers Condolences As Shabana Azmi’s Mother Passes Away

Shabana Azmi’s mother, veteran actress Shaukat Azmi left for her heavenly abode on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence. She was 93.

The nonagenarian had been unwell since some time. She was suffering from several age-related issues and was even admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital before she was brought back home by her family, as she wanted to return. Two days later she passed away in her room.

Celebs like Tabu, Urmila Matondkar, Manish Malhotra and Sayami Kher among others reached her house to offer their condolences.
