Bold Scenes Toned Down In 'Saheb Biwi Gangster Returns'

Tigmanshu Dhulia's 2011 film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill and Randeep Hooda, was much-talked-about for its bold scenes. However, for the sequel Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, the intimate scenes have been toned down. Director Tigmanshu was quoted saying that while his previous film was more of a bedroom drama, the sequel is about politics and deceit. He also added that in his films, bold scenes are never written to titillate the audiences and that censorship played a major role in this decision.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan, is set to release on March 8, 2013.
