'Blackmail' Cast Misses Irrfan Khan At The Recent Song Launch

The song, Badla from Irrfan Khan's upcoming film, Blackmail was launched a day ago, and at the event, the film's cast missed the actor's presence. Irrfan Khan recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor and that he is travelling abroad for his treatment.

During the video launch of the song, a lot of questions were raised pertaining to Irrfan's health and responding to them, director Abhinay Deo said, “Hoping on 6th of April, he will be with us to see the film."

When asked if delaying the release of the film was ever considered, producer Bhushan Kumar revealed that initially they had planned that, but Irrfan urged them to go on with the release and promotions, as planned. He also mentioned that Irrfan considered this as his 'most lovable film'. Khan's co-star, Divya Dutta said, “I am really waiting for him to return and give us some more beautiful films.”

Blackmail stars Irrfan Khan, Kriti Kulhari, Divya Dutta and Arunoday Singh and is set to release on 6th April, 2018.
