Television actress and model Sana Makbul has revealed that she has been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and is currently undergoing immunotherapy. In a candid conversation with Hindustan Times, the actress opened up about her health condition and how it has affected her life both physically and emotionally.

“Recently things got worse. My immune system started attacking my liver more aggressively,” she said. “I’ve now been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. I’m trying to stay strong and taking one day at a time.”

Makbul, known for her appearances in popular shows and reality TV (Bigg Boss), explained that she is doing everything possible with her doctors to avoid a liver transplant. She shared, “I’ve started immunotherapy — it’s really intense and tiring. Some days are harder than others. But I’m holding on to hope.” The actress is navigating through the difficult treatment process with a positive mindset, despite acknowledging the emotional toll it takes on her. “Some days I cry, some days I laugh, but every day, I try. As they say, healing is a journey, and I’m learning as I go.”
