A howlarious round of cinema… giggles and guffaws are on the anvil as… Bheja Fry 2 gears up to grace cinema screens on June 17, 2011. Bharat Bhushan, enacted with hilarious finesse by Vinay Pathak in Bheja Fry (2007) will show up in a sequel that promises to be "bigger, madder and funnier" than ever before, as director Sagar Ballary puts it.

Bharat Bhushan, the "original bumbling idiot" who's whacky and "socially embarrassing" will steal collective hearts with his silly songs and goofy nature.

Producer Mukul Deora reveals in a tabloid quote that this time around, Bharat Bhushan tries to "fulfill his ambition of becoming a singer by taking part in a reality show."

"One thing leads to another and he lands up on a cruise ship and that's when the madness starts," Mukul is said to have been quoted.

A trade source hailing the sequel describes the Bheja Fry series as being "iconic" and one that will "open the gates for many more such characters."
