Riteish Deshmukh's Banjo suffered a poor opening day as it could bring in only 1.72 crore, which is extremely low. Yes, the film was never expected to take a start that would have instantly put it into a comfort zone. However, at the least one expected a beginning (around 30%) that would have given it some kind of a platform. In case of this Ravi Jadhav film though, the numbers are way too low and one now waits to see if there is any kind of upswing that the film can take from this point on. To put things in perspective, Riteish's Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya <1.95 crore> had opened better and that too way back in 2012!

Pink is currently ruling the roost and that reflected in the second Friday collections that stood at a solid 3.15 crore. Now this is fantastic as there has been hardly any fall from the Thursday collections <3.24 crore>. The film is now bound to grow very strongly today and tomorrow and though the jumps may not be as high as they were in the opening weekend, rest assured there would be solid collections for sure by the time Pink enters the weekdays. At 39.06 crore, the film is now going beyond expectations and once the 60 crore mark is crossed, it would be in a Superhit zone.

Meanwhile, it is curtains for Raaz Reboot as the film' second Friday was just around 75 lakhs, which is around a fall of 90% from its opening day <6.3 crore>. This was pretty much on the cards though since the film has been rejected by one and all. With the current total standing around 27.5 crore, this is yet another Emraan Hashmi starrer that has closed around the 30 crore mark (last being Azhar). Flop.

Other three new releases of the week, Wah Taj, Parched and Days of Tafree, have all failed at the Box Office on its opening day itself. They hardly got any shows to play and it was in fact surprising to see that a complete non-starcast film like Days of Tafree (that hadn't seen any great promotion either) saw a better release than Wah Taj which at least had known faces like Shreyas Talpade and Manjari Fadnis.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
