Ballerina India Box office:
Ballerina, the much-anticipated spinoff from the John Wick universe, has opened to a lukewarm response at the Indian box office. Despite being connected to one of Hollywood’s most popular action franchises, the film failed to generate buzz or pull crowds, leading to a disappointing start.

In comparison, John Wick: Chapter 4 had a robust opening, collecting ₹2.50 crore in previews, followed by ₹6 crore on Friday and ₹9 crore on Saturday—resulting in a solid ₹17.5 crore total within its first two days. Ballerina, however, managed only ₹2.30 crore on Friday (including preview shows) and a marginal jump on Saturday with ₹2.80 crore. Its two-day total stands at ₹5.10 crore—even below than three times lower than John Wick 4's numbers.
SRH Owner Kavya Maran and Jailer Music Composer Anirudh Ravichander To Marry, Rajinikanth Apprised Her Father; Report –
One can see that Ballerina’s underwhelming start is due to low buzz, poor marketing, and a lack of audience awareness about the film. Even fans of the John Wick series seem unaware of this spinoff, leading to a weak turnout. With the film now targeting an ₹8 crore weekend, it’s worth noting that John Wick 4 had already crossed that figure on its first day. Unless there’s a miraculous turnaround, the Ana De Armas starrer appears headed for a flop status in India, with little hope for recovery in the coming days.
