'Balika' Avika Gears Up For 'Sasural'!

She stole the hearts of telly viewers with her touching child bride act in Balika Vadhu and many missed the bubbly Anandi when the show fast tracked by a few years. But now, Avika Gor is back with a bang! The young actress will play the second lead in upcoming serial, Sasural Simar Ka.

Audiences will see Avika in a new role as she portrays the character of Roli, an avid TV buff, couch potato and younger sister of protagonist Dipika Samson. Roli will speak in the typical telly lingo and make several references to various TV characters throughout the show.

Avika, who's apparently looking fabulous after shedding her baby fat, recently said in a tabloid, "I am back on TV because of their (audience's) love and appreciation and hope they shower me with same love in my new avatar."
