Badla Opens Better Than Amitabh Bachchan-Taapsee Pannu’s Pink
Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s latest release Badla has caught the audience’s attention and the film got a decent opening on day one of its release.
The movie, which hit the screens on Friday, earned Rs. 5.04 crore on its opening day and thus, beat the opening numbers of Big B and Taapsee’s last release together, Pink. Pink had earned Rs. 4.32 crore on the first day of its release.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla is the official remake of Spanish film, The Invisible Guest and it revolves around a married woman, who gets blackmailed by an unknown person, after the blackmailer comes to know about her extramarital affair. However, it just doesn’t stop at blackmailing, the blackmailer kills her boyfriend and frames her for it. The film also stars Amrita Singh, Tony Luke and Manav Kaul.
The crime-thriller is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment, co-produced by Gaurav Verma, and produced by Gauri Khan, Sunir Kheterpal and Akshai Puri.
