Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar's Badhaai Do had a decent weekend at the box office. Despite keeping the family audience away due to its taboo subject, the film has shown a good jump after the low numbers on its opening day. The film collected 1.65 crore on its opening day and then the business escalated on Saturday and Sunday.
Badhaai Do showed 64% growth on day two and minted 2.72 crore nett. Then it showed an upward trend again on the third day, Sunday, when the business went 24% higher than on Day Two. The Sunday numbers of the film are 3.45 crore nett, and it's the highest single day figure for the film, so far.
As per the official figures given by the producers, the opening weekend total of Badhaai Do now stands at 7.82 crore nett. Today, the film will enjoy the boost of Valentine's Day as the couples will be coming to theatres. It should hit the 10 cr mark today.
Considering the Covid scenario and restrictions, these numbers look considerably decent. Junglee Pictures’ Badhaai Do is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary. The film is playing in cinemas near you.
