Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Two action stars of Bollywood from different generations, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, are coming together for Ali Abbas Zafar's big-scale action entertainer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The teaser for this Eid release is out now; watch it below:
The Teaser of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan begins with Prithviraj Sukumaran's introduction, who plays an antagonist. He is a mastermind as well as a tech-savvy baddie. He believes he has no competition, as he says, "Kon rokega mujhe?" We know who. But before that, Prithviraj gets too explosive with his character introduction, even without showing his face. That's a masterstroke, you know. Keeping your villain's look unrevealed is always a good idea. That "Pralay aane wala hai" line from him is what we call mass dialoguebaazi. But wait, there is more.
After Sukumaran's intro, we get a bombastic entry from our Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan. So, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are both playing soldiers in BMCM and are off on a mission to save India from Prithviraj's plans. Both enter with blazing gunfire as they introduce themselves in massy style. Tiger says, "Dimaag se Shaitaan hai hum," and Akshay adds, "Humse bachke Rehna, Hindustan hai hum!" This is sure to cause mass hysteria in cinema halls.
It wasn't long ago that Sunny Deol roared with Hindustan Zindabaad in Gadar 2, and we have another powerful mention of "Hindustan" again! The promo then gets into action-packed mode, as you don't have a moment to blink during back-to-back action set pieces. A special mention goes to that fantastic background score, which took this teaser to a whole new level. If you see it on the big screen, you'll know the impact of the background score. As a whole, Ali Abbas Zafar seems to have cooked a solid Eid Bonanza for mass cinema lovers, and this one has that international touch too. There are no glimpses or mentions of the heroines—Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Sonakshi Sinha—so it's confirmed that Ali Abbas Zafar has a few more surprises for us. We'll wait for the trailer now.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, BMCM stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhilar, Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Alaya F. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar, the film will be released on Eid in April 2024.
