Bad Newz brings a happy kalesh at the box office. The film had a fantastic opening weekend at the ticket windows and will continue doing the same on weekdays as well.

Bad Newz saw an upward trend over the weekend, with a superb jump in collections on Saturday and Sunday.

Bad Newz opened with 8.62 crore nett on Friday, setting a new record for a rom-com genre opening this year. On Saturday, the film showed an upward trend, hitting the 10.55 crore nett mark. It made Sunday merry with another jump as it collected 11.45 crore nett.

The opening weekend total for Bad Newz stands at 30.62 crore, which is a fantastic total. Had it not been for heavy rains in Mumbai and Maharashtra, the film would have done higher business for sure. Nonetheless, positive word of mouth will certainly take the film into the HIT zone!
