Ayushmann Khurrana is playing a gay character in his next Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and his wife, Tahira Kashyap recently shared their eight-year-old son Virajveer’s thoughts on homosexuality.
Ayushmann is seen locking lips with his co-star Jitendra Kumar in the trailer and owing to the film’s bold plot, Tahira wanted to speak with her son about homosexuality. She shared their conversation writing, “With the upcoming film the dad is doing, I wanted to be forthcoming with my 8 year old son. I asked him if he knows what homosexuality means or being gay means. He knew it. I asked him if he was ok with it. He replied…what’s there not be ok about. (Teary eyed and proud).” Well, Tahira and Ayushmann have raised their sons well. Kudos to the progressive and proud parents.
Ayushmann will be seen romancing Jitendra Kumar in the film. Jitendra is playing Aman Tripathi and Ayushmann is playing Kartik Singh. Gajraj Rao is playing Jitendra’s father Shankar Tripathi and Neena Gupta is essaying the role of his mother Sunaina Tripathi. Pankhuri Awasthy is playing Kusum, Jitendra’s fianceé. Written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mnagal Zyada Saavdhan will release on February 21.
